That sounds strange! Do you have the Excerpt being displayed? I wonder if you would get a default Read More link that has parentheses around it?
We don’t have any code that would insert a parentheses, otherwise!

Sorry – my bad. Not parentheses – quotation marks. Good grief. My brain my be frozen from this weather…:)
So there are quotation marks at the beginning but not at the end of the testimonial.

It sounds like your theme may have some styling, probably on the blockquote element.
Are you familiar with CSS? You can use our Custom CSS box to adjust your theme’s CSS, if needed.
I would use an online screenshot service, if you want to share an image, like Awesome Screenshot.

Well, I can’t really help much without seeing the site, unfortunately. I would guess there is a background image being applied via CSS. Either this background image only contains one quote, or the sizing / padding of the box and the image don’t match up correctly (so the entire image is not being displayed.)
Anyways, that’s where I would start looking, were I looking at the site.
