    Hi,

I just discovered that when I enable Jetpack’s “official buttons” for social media, the Facebook button does not appear on Firefox when the Firefox NoScript add-on is enabled. I checked NoScript’s whitelist and “facebook.com” was listed on it. However, Jetpack’s “official button” for Facebook was invisible until I complete disabled the NoScript plugin. All of Jetpack’s other “official button” social media links are visible in Firefox. I’m currently running Firefox 37.0.1, NoScript 2.6.9.5, and Jetpack 3.6.1. I would be interested if there is a solution for this as the NoScript add-on is quite essential for cutting down on malicious and unwanted scripts on webpages.

    Thanks!

Okay, when I add “facebook.net” to NoScript’s whitelist, then the Facebook “official button” displays on Firefox. However, when I actually click the Jetpack Facebook button, NoScript warns me of a potential “Clickjacking / UI Redressing Attempt” and says there is a hidden element in the button. Any Firefox users running NoScript are not going to click a button with a warning like that. Any solution to this problem? Thanks!

Since the button is hosted on Facebook.com, we don’t have much control over the button look, and how it’s built.

I’d suggest asking in the Facebook developer community here:

You might also want to contact NoScript’s authors, as they probably receive questions like these quite often. In their FAQ, they seem to mention quite a few Facebook domains. That could help.
