• I have this odd issue I cannot figure out. When working on the back end, like in wp-admin area, if I make a change to a page, post or anything, when I save, when the page refreshes, it shows the old content. I have to ctrl f5 to get the new content to load. If I forget to ctrl f5, and make another edit and save, all the other changes applied previously are wiped and only the new change is applied.
If what I’m saying sounds confusing, basically everytime I save anything, I have to ctrl f5 before doing anything else or I’ll lose what I previously updated.
I’ve disabled w3 cache plugin, in firefox disabled all addons. I have no clue where to start with this one other than wiping firefox and reinstalling.
Internet explorer and chrome do not have this issue, but I hate using those browsers. Thanks for any input.

  • Hello, shepsta, & welcome. There are a couple things I wonder if you’ve done. First, there is usually a file called wp-cache.php or similar–have you deleted that? Also, have you changed define wp_cache from true to false in your wp-config.php? Lastly, do you perchance know if your host is running any sort of caching, i.e., varnish, Cloudflare, etc?

I use FF as well & am not experiencing this, so it’s not FF per se. Let’s see if we can’t troubleshoot this.
