The same problem is when i’m trying to select players and sportpress listed ALL players (in matches)

I noticed that when creating a game, if you select the season/competition first and click Update, the team list is then filtered properly. This workaround is fine for me.
I’ve got player lists.
1. League A, Season 2016, Club 1, players set AUTO
2. League A, Season 2017, Club 1, players set Manual
3. League B, Season 2017, Club 1, players set Manual
Now when I’ve adding the match, sportspres display ALL players.
I think the problem is that i firstly select a teams, and after that season and league. So sportpress dont know what should select, which players.

That’s actually a good idea! The problem is that we can’t run AJAX before there’s a post created. Once you hit update (or save draft) the information is stored and we can start playing with it. 🙂
