Hi @janv01
For the moment you can only use filters on the search results page and to filter posts/products matched to the search string.
For example posts https://demo.filtereverything.pro/?s=nam&post_type=post
or products search
https://demo.filtereverything.pro/?s=apple&post_type=product

Hi, Great,
I think it would be helpful when the admin part of both demo’s would be available as learning material.
Thanks.
Hi @janv01
Thank you for the suggestion, I will consider such thing and if I will have enough time, I will do that 🙂
Hi @stepasyuk,
I just found this topic. At this moment we use the free version of the plugin, and it is great and the filters work fine.
I use it for a custom post type with 5 custom taxonomy.
I try to make it work with Custom Post Type Widgets plugin search field.
Now the filters are working on the Archive page, but when I write into the search field something, and it goes to the search result page, on the search result page the filters are not showing, even if I set that archive and search result page use the same template. (with Elementor pro).
I saw the two demos above, and this is what we need here.
My question is, that can it be solved with the free plugin, or only with the pro version?
Or is there any other way to have a search field and work it together with the filters?
Thank you!
Timea
Hi @timiwebforu
Sorry for the late reply.
In general if you use Free version and it works on the Archive page it should works on the Search results page also. Maybe you did not add Filters widget in the widget area on the Search results page? Or maybe you use different WP_Queries on your archive and search results pages in your Elementor templates. You can check it with disabled Elementor as option.
The search field compatible with filters will be added in the future (in several months). It is already in my todo list and I will notify you here in this topic when it will be ready.
I hope my answers will be useful for you 🙂
