Filter incoming posts automatically with [category] shortcodes

    Hello,

    I’m currently using RSS to import posts from a heroku apps platform into WordPress. I have full control of the content in the RSS.

    I’m looking for a way to filter the incoming posts into the categories that I have set up. I have over 50 categories and more on the way, so I would prefer to be able to direct them to the proper category using the category #.

    Like this: [category 27]
    Instead of this: [category philadelphia-restaurants-coupons]

    Is there a plugin that will help me do this?
