Some of the links link to the CDN, such as the background images (css) and the featured image, however none of the images in the posts have been changed. I have 500 some images so manual isn’t gonna cut it. Search and replace in the database? Any guidance on which tables to search and not bork everything? Any guidance on making sure future posts work properly?

CSS isn’t changed by this plugin… I’m assuming you ran the ‘migrate existing images’ thing, right?

Any guidance on making sure future posts work properly?

Are you saying new posts DON’T work right now?

I ran “migrate existing images”. I also just searched and replaced everything successfully, so it’s not really an issue for me at the moment, but it would have been nice if it worked.

Are you saying new posts DON’T work right now?

I suppose I ought to try a new post before I ask such a question 😀

One thing I noticed is the srcset attribute isn’t showing the CDN URL and I’m guessing it’s getting the URL from the options table, but again, this might just be in old posts.

Is there any reason an htaccess redirect wouldn’t be the easiest at this point?

New posts work fine, still have srcset issue, which isn’t really an issue with this plugin unless you have an easy solution for that.

    Thanks

I’m working on the srcset. It’s due to a change they made in core 4.4.1 to fix a semi-related bug where mixed content warnings blew up sites. This should be fixable via the plugin, but I’m experimenting with the ‘best’ way since there’s no foolproof way for the plugin to know if you’ve moved all the image sizes up to the CDN bucket :/

(As you noted, the migrate SHOULD work, but sometimes it doesn’t, and it doesn’t give good errors… )
