File integrity checker for premium plugins

    To automate the upload of premium plugins you recommend Thorstens “Extended Integrity for NinjaScanner” plugin in your documention. I’m wondering, why you don’t integrate this function as an option in your NinjaScanner (Premium) plugin. This would be really helpful.

    We didn’t implement it yet because we didn’t think about it and then, 3 weeks ago, we found the Extended Integrity plugin which works well and decided to add it to the documentation. Maybe we’ll implement something similar in the future.

    I tested the extension now but unfortunately, it’s not working. During a plugin update, the new plugin version is copied to /wp-content/ninjascanner/local but it seems like it’s missing for the actual update process:

    Updating Plugin Duplicator Activity Log (1/1)

    An error occurred while updating Duplicator Activity Log: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_MISSING_FILE (-4) : Missing archive file '1'

    All updates have been completed.

    I just tested by updating NinjaFirewall WP+ and it worked. Maybe it’s related to the “Duplicator Activity Log” plugin?

    I recommend to contact the developer, there could be a bug in the hook that returns the path to the downloaded ZIP file. But I can’t reproduce it with the plugins I tested.
