File Failed to Upload – SFTP

I’m able to upload files via ftp without issue but when I add :s22 to my credentials, update the shortcode and retry uploading a file I get the message “File failed to upload”.

Looking at phpinfo SFTP is a listed protocol and SSH is installed: libssh2/1.4.3. I’m also able to connect via SFTP with the same credentials in filezilla without issue.

Any idea what it is I’m doing wrong?

Hi, no idea, it should normally work. Can I try to upload myself? What is the URL?

Do you have “Disable AJAX” option enabled?

No particular reason, no. I’ve changed the disable ajax option to off and updated it now – can’t see any change.

Debug mode is on as well but I’m only seeing ‘file failed to upload’ message.

There may exist a debug.log file in /wp-content folder of your website. It may have some more info about the error.

Do you have access to the error log of your web server?

I couldn’t before but I’ve just enabled debugging in the config file and now I can see debug.log.

Anything in particular you’d recommend I look for, or would it be best if I sent it over?

Indeed nothing there related to the plugin. What about the error log of your web server? Do you have access there?

Can you also send me the shortcode?
