• For the past several days, after backing a blog, I try to download both the archive.zip and the installer.php files.

Each time I have received a 403 Forbidden Error.

Never had any problems in the past using the plugin.

My hosting company has tried numerous things to identify and fix the problem.

    They said

From our side, we cannot confirm the exact reason why the “Duplicator” WordPress plugin is creating the backup file with 0600 permissions. Would recommend you address this matter to the plugin’s vendor and their dev team for further review.

In the meantime, you decide to run the said plugin on another website, then the new website will have to be added to the custom cron job file, so it, in turn, can fix the permissions.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
