Fields created with elementor echo
-
I used Elementor with the One Page Theme at the front page and used it to add certain rows with it. Since im in the Elementor design mode everything looks fine, but when im checking the view from the outside the created content echos. Take a look at it here: http://xn--thegng-eua.de/
I tested it with chrome and firefox.

BTW – I think the Problem could be also the theme. I created another field and as well as in the first field the content is echoed now on the bottom as well.
Side note: @yehudah I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.
Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
I’m very sorry, I didn’t aware of the issues from my request as from a specific point on the support process this is my only option to understand the issue.
1. From your experience, what can I do to further investigate users issues ?
2. Is that allowed to redirect the users to a private support platform ?
Thanks
There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site should not be one of them.
- Ask for a link to the http://pasetbin.com/ log of the user’s web server error log.
- Ask the user to create and post a link to their
phpinfo();output. - Ask the user to install the Send System Info plugin and get the data that way.
- Walk the user through enabling WP_DEBUG and how to log that output to a file and how to share that file.
- Walk the user through basic troubleshooting steps such and disabling all other plugins except yours, switch to the Twenty Fifteen theme, clear their cache and cookies and try again.
- Ask the user for the step-by-step on how they can reproduce the problem.
You get the idea.
Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
Is that allowed to redirect the users to a private support platform ?
Sure. You can direct your users to your own site for support. That is allowed.
When you answered this
Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
Did you mean my second question ?
If yes, what did you mean ? Why answering in a private support forums will get you into real trouble in these forums
Thanks again.
Answering in case Jan is currently busy…
Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
This refers to people asking for login credentials on these forums. We are more than happy for you to offer support ion your own forum.
Sorry for this posts attack 🙂
Can you disable all your plugins except elementor and select the default wordpress theme ? any of them.
Please just try what I suggest and see if that working.
@yehudah – done. Doesn’t repeat anymore. But i guess this wont fix my problem, right? ‘:-)
http://xn--thegng-eua.de/Sure,
You post here that you suspect it’s the theme,
try too change that back with plugins disabled.
if the error return it’s your theme.if everything ok after the change, try to enable plugin one by one until you find the problematic plugin.
Post your results here, any we try to see if we can do something about that.
So i just enabled the theme and the plugin that comes with aditional features to style the frontpage. Same procedure. It repeats the content.
