I read that CF7 has changed it’s internal structure in version 3.9.

Probably CF7 Dynamic Text Extension will have to be adapted accordingly…

I took a look at the code and that might be reason for the break. I couldn’t fix it though 🙂
Yep same problem for me too. Stay on Contact Form 7 version 3.8.1 if you need to use Dynamic Text Extension because the moment you upgrade to 3.9 it breaks. Hopefully it gets fixed soon…
I’ve patched it and made a version available here that works: https://github.com/marblegravy/contact-form-7-dynamic-text-extension
Hopefully the author can roll this in to the official release, it’s a simple fix that I think is related to PHP more than CF7 changes.
