Few Beginner Issues

    Hello. I just put together a wordpress site and just had a few questions. I’m comfortable with .html and .css but I’m new to WordPress. I see that when I add a page I can choose “private” or “password”. How can I get it so I set up the users…then when the user is logged in they can see the private links?

    2. How do I remove the links on the right like the “archive April” etc. I’m using the 2010 template.

    1. Use the Private option.

    2. Edit the sidebar,.php template file or try adding some widgets via Appearance->Widgets.

    Thank you. Took care of the sidebar no prob. I changed those pages to private but now they don’t seem to show up at all even when I’m logged in as admin. The goal is for the members to be able to log in and share information privately so I’m creating each one a log in, but then would like certain pages only available to them.
