I ran into an issue when my podcast category feed stopped updating this week. At first I thought it was a problem with Feedburner but after deleting the account (and putting a 30 day redirect back to the original feed) my category feeds are still not working. And interestingly enough, when I deactivate the Feedsmith Plugin for Feedburner, my main feed goes down as well. When loaded into a browser I get the posts in full text/utf-8 form. Every reader I’ve tried to use to subscribe comes back with “feed not found”.

    Main feed: http://www.nerdcityonline.com/feed
    Podcast feed: http://www.nerdcityonline.com/category/podcast/feed
feedburner feed that was deleted and redirected: feeds.feedburner.com/nerdcitypodcast

I really appreciate any help or suggestions…this has been a problem all week, and with no podcast feed we get no itunes updates as well.
    Thanks!!
    Kris

Update: Well I ran into an issue that might help someone with a little more knowledge than me. With not being able to get any of my current category feeds to work in Google Reader I tried creating a new category called “test” and posted a new blog entry. I then went back to the reader and tried to subscribe to the “test” category that I just created and it worked! What is going on with my wordpress that is letting the feed from a newly created category work, but not the old ones? Here is some of my site info that I forgot to add in my previous post.
    WP 2.5.1
Plugins that I’ve read could interfere: Feedburner Feedsmith 2.3.1, PodPress 8.8
I’ve tried disabling both of these but it doesn’t help my feed problem at all.
