FeedDemon not displaying post images

Hi,

I do hope someone can help me with this problem…

I have just set a WordPress blog up, and when I try to subscribe to the rss feed at http://www.mywebsite.com/feed using FeedDemon all the images appear as broken. When I try to click on any of the images to preview in a browser (Firefox) I get the following message:

You don’t have permission to access [ full path to image in uploads folder is included here ] on this server.

However, when I try to load the rss feed using IE7’s inbuilt RSS reader, all the images appear fine.

I’m using the latest install of WordPress (2.8.4) and am just uploading images into posts using the media library. I have set my posts to ‘full text’.

Can anyone point me in the right direction/explain where I am going wrong?
