• I am currently using Subscribe2, but after reading some reviews, I am thinking whether I should replace Subscribe2 with FeedBurner….which is really better? I was reading on how to get started with FeedBurner, and honestly, I have no idea on how to start with FeedBurner and let people subscribe from my sidebar. If there is a way to transfer my subscribers from Subscribe2 to FeedBurner could you please let me know. And by the way my site is appleinquirer.com so you can see where I would want FeedBurner to be 🙂

  • @learnabouttech,

I have no ideas about moving from Subscribe2 to FeedBurner but a few searches seem to reveal that there is no way to migrate your users across.

The main reason I stick with Subscribe2 – writing and developing it, is because of the FeedBurner terms of service. As soon as you send your posts through it you essentially give the content to Google – forever.

See point 11.1 of the TOS:

“By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services”

If you are happy with that then fine but I’d rather not hand my content to Google to do with as they please.
