Dear @amlozek
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Google Merchant Center accepts 1,000.00 as the correct price format, while 1.000.00 may be interpreted incorrectly, for example as 1.00.
To ensure compatibility with Google Merchant Center’s requirements, our plugin uses a comma (,) as the thousand separator and a period (.) as the decimal separator by default.
However, if the feed is generating the price in the correct format, such as 1,000.00, but Google Merchant Center is interpreting it as 1.00 or something similar, please share the feed URL with us. We will check it further and investigate the issue.
Best regards,
Love the fact that you don’t believe me like I literally didn’t waste an hour trying to get Merchant Center to recognize the prices as a thousands of what we are selling them. Or the fact that the Merchant Center feed rules specifically mention Numeric + ISO 4217 as the syntax, and Numeric should never contain a comma according to any source I found.
Here’s the feed: https://avital.hu/wp-content/uploads/woo-feed/google/xml/avital_merchant_feed.xml
Maybe it’s a Europe thing? I fixed the problem by the way with setting up two feed rules, one to replace “,” with nothing, and another to replace “.00” with nothing.
Dear @amlozek
It’s good to know that you were able to resolve the issue.
We will also check whether Google requires different separators for European countries. If we find any relevant requirements, we will definitely consider adding support for them in our plugin.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Best regards,
