[NSFW] Feed Empty

    Hello,
    I have a Facebook product feed with the “include variations” option enabled, and it works normally.

    I tried duplicating the feed for testing, as I only need to upload the parent products without the variations, so I simply disabled the “include variations” option. Everything else is the same.

    The problem, however, is that the feed is empty after applying this change. Why?

    Hi @antonellov10 ,

    If you disable the include variations option then, only simple product types will be added to the feed. Can you please confirm if you only have Variation products in your store?

    If yes, then you will need the include variations option. It’s okay to include this as Meta requires the item_group_id to determine the products parent.

    If you are using our Meta template on feed creation then the item_group_id should be automatically added.

    Hello

    Yes, most of them are variable products that differ only in size.
    I use your Meta template in the feed and set:
    id = Product ID
    item_group_id = Item Group ID

    But what if I want to send only the “parent” product and not the size variations? How can I do that? For example, by applying rules or filters.

    Hi @antonellov10 ,

    That’s currently not possible via rules or snippet. At the moment it’ll always give the variation product it’s not possible to add a Parent product.

    What you could try is the use the include default variation option:

    Also, with variations – Meta will automatically group them.
