Features Meta Box

I have created a custom taxonomy called features for a rental plugin I am working on. However I noticed it gets created on the right hand side bar is their anyway I can list it where the metabox are below the editor.

I am using it to list the type of fetures a house would have ie gas , garage, sky tv.

Also what is the best way to change loyout to two columsn so I dont get one big massive list of checkboxes.?
