    Hi, I do use this shortcode :
    [psac_post_carousel design=”design-1″ limit=”3″ category=”1″ show_thumbnail=”true” type=”featured” show_author=”false” show_category=”false” show_date=”true” show_content=”false” media_size=”thumbnail” show_tags=”false” show_comments=”false” order=”DESC” orderby=”post_date” dots=”false” arrows=”true” autoplay=”true” autoplay_interval=”4000″ speed=”1000″ loop=”true” sliderheight=”400″ content_words_limit=”0″ slide_show=”3″ slide_scroll=”1″]

    even if I define type=”featured” it does not limit the post to the ones defined as featured into my blog.
    I have several with feature or sticky checkbox checked but I keep seeing others.

    I change loop to false.
    still see the 3 lasts posts but not the featured ones.

    And If I check better, I limited to the cat ID 1 and the slider gets from others categories as well.

    Thanks for the web page URL. I have checked it and found that you are using lite version.

    For your query,
    1) still see the 3 lasts posts but not the featured ones…
    Ans – In lite version there is no functionality of Featured post. The checkbox you are referring may be a part of another functionality.

    May be a theme or any other third party plugin.

    Can you please send me the rough screenshot of checkbox setting?

    Ans – Category parameter will work for you. Make sure you have added right category ID.

    Also please take care of double quote in shortcode parameter category="1". Sometime what happen when we copy the shortcode and paste it into WordPress editor then double quotes are converted to special character and because of it the parameter will not work.

    Please remove the double quote and add it manually. I will work for you 🙂

    make this post sticky

    2/ I did add right category. that’s why I asked, I triple checked.
    do you recommend to use single quote ?

    For your query,

    Ans – I have checked your screenshot and yes, It is a WordPress built-in functionality of “Sticky Post”.

    Sticky Posts is a feature that places a post at the top of the front page of posts, keeping it there until new sticky posts are published.

    Plugin does not have a sticky post feature in a lite version.

    2) I did add right category. do you recommend to use single quote?

    Ans – This is very strange. It should work. I have checked on my side and it is working perfectly. I have also checked the code.

    I have again tried to look at your web page but it is not working. It says “The page isn’t redirecting properly”

    or do you know some incompatibility with Unyson pagebuilder ?

    Are you using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/unyson/ ? So I can check with it.

    1) Yes

    2) I have checked category parameter with and without plugin. It is working perfectly.

    I have checked your category page (https://www.sexualidadyafectividad.com/category/articulos/) But is returns 404 page although category have post assigned.

    2 / yes I did add a snippet into functions.php to exclude it in direct but I still see the posts into blogroll page. in /articulos/

    Can your custom code snippet be a reason of category parameter not working? May be it affecting to plugin query also? I am not sure but you can check.
