Featured Page Image Rollover

    I am trying to change the featured page image hover effect from the default round to square images with fading magnifying glass overlay – home page.

    I see that most of the magic seems to be happening in ./inc/parts/class-content-featured_pages.php and I can insert the necessary

    '<span class="rollover"></span>'

    But, I still need to remove the widget front hover and figure the best way to filter or hook in the above code.

    Any pointers would be welcome!

    Although it would be nice to have an option or two for how the featured pages are presented on the home page, for me it was just easier to use the option to disable them and write my own code using the built in bootstrap grid system and guide from the website
