Hello Wendy, I can see the featured images both in the archives and in the posts.
Are the featured images on posts all showing the pink fabric that I have on the Welcome page?
Or are you seeing a different image for each category?

Wendy, it is a bit difficult to understand what a featured image in your theme is. I am not sure anymore whether I have looked correctly.
Is or should be the header image the featured image? What should be in the header on an archive page, e.g. a category page?
If I look at a category page do I see featured images at each post teaser or the content images?
Those appereances is up to the theme, not the plugin.
In Twenty-Eleven, the featured images are displayed in a banner in the header, below the website title and above the drop-down menu.
If a featured image is not set, then that banner image is the header image set in Appearances>header.
If a feature image is set in an individual post, then that feature image should show in the header instead of the header image.
That is a theme related topic, not the plugin’s. Someone should take a look into the code of your theme and correct it.
As I can see in the section “You may also like:” the featured images seem to be set correctly.
The only parts of the Twenty-Eleven theme’s code that has been changed for my Child Theme have been for fonts: size, colour & style.
The issue occurs even if I am use the original Twenty-Eleven theme on my Bluehost -hosted site, but it is not occurring with Twenty-Eleven on my wordpress.com site. I would expect that the code would be the same for the theme no matter where it is hosted.
The only differences I can think of are:
1) host
2) plugins
When Bluehost migrated my site, I thought that the loss of the featured images was just one of those things they couldn’t migrate, and which I would need to reinstate. I was delighted to find your plugin to help me, and even happier to find I could sent my feature images for future posts.
But after using QFI to reinstate all my featured images, I found they still didn’t show up, which is odd, since Shareaholic detects them and displays them in related content.
Even re-setting a featured image manually in the visual editor didn’t work.
I have deactivated all my plugins and reactivated them, but this didn’t help.
I haven’t removed the QFI plug-in and then re-installed it because I’m guessing I will lose all the featured images I already set and have to re-do that work, which takes quite a while, even with the plugin to help.
Perhaps I need to post over on Twenty-Eleven support and see if anyone has ideas.
Found it!
I deactivated all plugins again, and while they were all off, the featured images showed properly on both the parent and the child theme.
I switched the plugins back on one by one. No problems with any plugin that I was using, including Jetpack.
Then I followed the Jetpack prompt to connect to WordPress.com and the problem returned.
I deactivated Jetpack, re-activated it, and sure enough, if I don’t connect Jetpack to WP.com, there is no issue.
Thanks for your patience in helping me resolve this.
