Featured images not appearing

Most of my featured images for my posts are not appearing. I am able to delete and reupload them but there are hundreds of posts…

When I go to media to find the photo of my choice, the thumbnail doesn’t appear so I can’t find which pictures are meant to go to which post. Can anybody explain what the problem is please?
