    Hi,

    Strapvert is an amazing theme!

Anyone know how I can re-size the thumbnails. All my images get resized to 612×300 (original size 612×612)?

    Thank you

    Hello Aits,

Thanks for the compliment and glad you like the theme :).

Currently the thumbnail size are set in functions.php as follow.
    1) Featured top: strapvert-featured @640X300
    2) Featured secondary: standard @280X136
    3) Single Post view: strapvert-single @840X300 and
    4) related posts: strapvert-mini @50X50

To change the values you’d copy what needs changing into your child themes functions.php – change the name i.e strapvert-single to strapvert-single-custom and the value to 612X612 and then use those in your child theme’s templates.

Or you could simply remove the part that reads “true” which is the hard crop and the images will have a soft crop instead. The reason hard crop is used is to give the end results a uniform look and feel.

    Hope that helps,
    Zulf

    Thanks Zulf

Will try out and see what I get.

That is the long term plan for WP Strap Code – in the very near future will start a serious of tutorials in both written form and video on theming, tips and tricks and general WordPress subjects.

    Please stay tuned 🙂

    Zulf.

    Tuned I am!
