Featured Image option missing from 3.3.1

    Recently updated to 3.3.1 and noticed that picking a featured image when creating a post is no longer available. Is there a way to add this? The option seemed to be the only way to insure the correct image uploaded to Facebook when our posts were shared on our Facebook wall, so it’s truly invaluable.

    That’s strange. In the admin when you are editing a post, can you click on screen options and see if featured image is checked? Maybe that’s what happening.

    I had that option in 3.2, but It doesn’t give me that option in 3.3.1.

    Did anything else change? The feature image is linked to the theme. There could have been a change in the theme file or perhaps the theme was changed?

    Try reverting to the twenty ten theme and see what happens. If the feature option reappears, then that means there’s something wrong with your theme.
