Featured image field missing on portfolio items

    I have installed Visual Portfolio but the field for featured image is missing when i create a new item. This field is present in posts and pages but not here for some reason. I have disabled all plugins and reverted back to a wordpress original theme but the issue remains. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hi. Have no idea why you don’t see it. Featured image is showing for me and for all of our customers on Themeforest.

    Hi –
    sorry, but on my website it doesn’t work either.
    In the past it used to work fine, but yesterday I wanted to change the featured image of a portfolio item and the option simply isn’t there anymore. The featured image can be deleted, but I can’t exchange it for a new one, there is no button in the menu.

    Make sure that Featured Images is enabled in page Options:

    Hi,
    thanks for your reply – I found the problem: the Featured Image field wasn’t working with the new Gutenberg Editor – i changed to classic mode and the Field appeared again.
    Maybe thats useful for other users, too.
