Featured image duplicated to gallery

    I wonder if there is a way to prevent the uploaded image from duplicating to the product gallery. This causes two identical images to show up on the single product page. I want to be able to upload multiple images and one of them should become the featured image and the rest should be added to the gallery.

    Is this possible?

    yes, check out the fields featured_image and product_gallery (use it instead of the images field)

    I tried with the featured_image and product_gallery fields, but the images won’t be added to the products at all. I checked the filenames and they’re correct. They showed up with the images field but not with featured_image and product_gallery. What might be wrong?

    Tried uploading to an external server and went with the URL instead. It worked fine so I guess I go with that method. It would have been cleaner and faster if the medias import method worked though…
