• We published a post that has an image embedded in the content (and the featured image on that post is NOT set), it appears on Facebook when auto-posted with this plugin,

However when we publish another post that does not have images embedded in the content but we selected a featured image on the WP page, that image is not displayed on Facebook when auto-posted.

Is there something else that needs to be done?

We are running version 4.3.9 of the plugin with WP 5.2.4

The “verify featured image” check box is unchecked

the post type setting is set to “Text Post with “attached” blogpost”

We also noticed that once the post is sent to Facebook no matter what we try the image will not be displayed if we manually post it again to Facebook. We inserted an image into the post content and it didn’t appear in Facebook, we selected a featured image and it also did not appear in Facebook when we manually did a post to Facebook again.

SNAP does not set or control what info (image, title and description) is used in the “Web preview” part of the shared post.

Facebook (LinkedIn, Google+, Twitter, Telegram, Vk.com, etc…) is setting this info by itself, using Open Graph (OG) metatags from your site. Please set them correctly. They must be set at the time of autoposting.
