And, I’d like to say that my Jetpack, which is already activated, is the 3.2.2 version. Maybe that is a good information.
Already appreciating your help!
Thanks,
Rebeca L.
I’m not sure why your Featured Content panel isn’t being displayed with Jetpack active.
To help troubleshoot, you could try temporarily deactivating all your plugins except Jetpack. If the Featured Content panel appears, reactivate your plugins one-by-one, testing again in between each reactivation, to find the conflict.
If you don’t have a plugin conflict I’d suggest contacting Jetpack support directly so they can help you try to find the source of the issue:

I don’t see Superhero active on this site – altmidia.com – is there a different site where you’re running it or did you decide to switch themes?
Hi Kathryn,
Thank you for your answer. I did what you’ve suggested but still no plugin conflict appeared. I also updated my Jetpack to version 3.9.4 and nothing.
The website in this case is http://www.gdportasejanelas.com where the Superhero Theme is activated.
I’ll be waiting for any help that you still can give me, meanwhile I’ll be looking for a help contacting Jetpack support as well.
Thank you,
Rebeca L.

Can you verify that you’ve activated it in your plugins panel, and not just installed it?
Kathryn, hi!
Yes, the plugin Jetpack is activated. It only asks me to connect to WordPress, but because I read in one of these foruns here, I know that it is not necessary to connect to get its settings.
Is there another way for me to set, at least, a full width image on top?
It is the only important thing which I need to set up – giving up of change of colours and others settings.
Again, I appreciate your help.
Thank you,
Rebeca L.

This is the problem. 🙂 You do need to connect to a WordPress.com account, otherwise Jetpack is not active.
Can you please go ahead and connect your WordPress.com account? Featured Content should be available once you do that.
If you want to run Jetpack without a WordPress.com connection, there are some extra steps you need to take, and certain modules won’t be available. Follow this guide if you want to go that route:

Yey!!!
It works! Thank you so much Kathryn!
I connected my WordPress account and Featured Content appeared. I put a full width image on top already.
Thank you again!
Rebeca L.
Yay! I’m so glad we figured out what the issue was and that Featured Content is working now. 🙂
