There are times that we leave plugins installed on sites but not active. These plugins are only used occasionally and we disable them to reduce memory usage.

Currently, it seems Prime Mover will not include disabled plugins in a site export. Could an option be added to allow the inclusion of disabled plugins in a site export?

Thank you for using the Prime Mover plugin! Yes, we designed it this way so the package could include only active plugins for the site. This reduces package size, saves bandwidth/disk space, and reduces clutter when the site is restored to the target site.

In your case, it would be helpful to include plugins that are not active on the source site to the destination site. This way you can always activate it when needed and bypass the install process, which saves time.

This feature is now on our roadmap and will be included as early as version 2.2.1. There is a big release coming (2.2.0), but this feature isn’t included yet. Rest assured, this feature will be added as a free feature soon, so you don’t need to upgrade to use it.

Thank you again for this feature suggestion!
