Feature request: Select Post Types types that get monitored

Hi!
It would be useful to me to be able to select post types that I want the plugin to monitor (or exclude from monitoring). I have a fancy custom post type that uses permalinks in a non-standard way, and that is confusing Redirection into redirecting from homepage to a post of that post type. Simple exclude of the post type would do the trick. Either option or a filter would be great!
