• Fantastic plugin!! I’ve not long found it but am already using it on two sites.

There’s another site I’d like to use it on but was wondering if this is possible, the page is really long, it’s a parallax page with different blocks showing different content.

I have a shop section that’s in the middle of the page and have got the popup to show to the right, indicating free delivery on orders over £100.

What I’d LOVE to be able to do is hide the popup if the user continues to scroll down.

For example, popup appears on .shop (this is the div that holds the shop element), popup hides again you scroll past .news (this is the news block underneath the shop).

Or shows at 50%, hides at 60%.

This would allow me to use different popups in certain areas of the site without them clashing.

But again, amazing plugin – so simple to use, but so effective… and subtle.

    Thank you!

    Hey Aaron,

That’s actually a pretty sweet idea for long pages like yours. I’d have to let it sink for a while in order to come up with a good & general solution while keeping things simple for others who do not need advanced functionality like that.

Anyway, please know that it’s been added to the list and that I’m cooking up an idea to include this in the plugin interface.

Would 1 “visible” area suffice or do you think it would be neat if you could define multiple areas? As in: visible between 50-70% and 90-100%.

    Let me know!

    Hey Aaron,

I just wanted to you let know that, since we’re developing the plugin out in the open, we have a GitHub issue where we keep track of our progress:

    https://github.com/ibericode/scroll-triggered-boxes/issues/27

Please feel free to join the discussion, I just proposed a possible implementation!

    Hi Danny.

Fantastic, can’t wait to see your implementation.

For me, and this scenario, only one visible area would be needed, I could then create a triggered box to show between 20 and 30%, and another one for 70 and 80%.

Thanks also for the update on having the triggered box show straight away, this plugin is quickly becoming a must-have!!

    Thanks
    Aaron
