Feature request – email manual sales

    Hi Malcom,

    Thanks for the great product, we went live with our first online box office this week and so far it has been a resounding success.

    I was just wondering if I could put a request for a feature in.

    When we sell tickets for cash (not through paypal) we put this through as a manual sale (Sales > Add sale). At the same time we collect the email and contact details of the purchaser.

    Is it possible to have either:

    1) An automatic email (like the PayPal one) go out when a manual sale is completed and an email address exists.

    or

    2) An ‘Email ticket’ button in the sales log so we can go through manually and email the tickets to the people who have paid via cash instead of through the website?

    It’s a good idea, and not a major change to implement. I’ll add it to the list!

    In the mean time, you can send an email from the Tools menu using the “Sale EMail Test”. The email generated is identical to what would be generated during a normal sale.
    Note: Leave the “Divert EMail To” entry blank to send the email to the purchaser.
