The plugin is simply good. But I need a simple option necessary to me. At checkout the deposit amount would show the preset percentage of combining the cart items prices & shipping charge together. Not only the product prices percentage amount.
Also the full amount would show the actual full billed amount combining the cart items price & shipping charge together. Not only the product prices sum amount. If done this way or have settings option to set like this it seems to me more logical, confusion free.

E.g. I have 1 product in my cart. Price is 100. Shipping charge is 100.
For a 50 percent deposit option set in settings,
the plugin shows in Pay Deposit option: 50 (50%) Remaining balance: 50
& in Pay Full Amount option: 100
But the bill total amount is 200.
So when Pay Full Amount is selected (showing 100) the checkout button shows & charges 200 (thus the confusion).
When Pay Deposit is selected (showing 50) the checkout button shows & charges 150 (including the shipping charge)

So it should show so for my need & logic:
Pay Deposit option: 100 (50%) Remaining balance: 100
& in Pay Full Amount option: 200

This can be by default or by a particular option in settings to set for. Or also an option for shipping charges combined deposit amount calculation or not for the plugin user.

    Hi @onemynul ,

Thank you so much for the detailed query and for the kind words about the plugin, this is exactly the kind of feedback that helps us improve.

You’re right that the displayed amounts should match what’s actually charged at checkout. We’ve taken your feature request on board: we’ll be adding a setting that lets you choose whether shipping charges are included in the deposit calculation, along with fixing the displayed Pay Full Amount value so it reflects the real order total.

This will be available in the next update. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s out.

Thanks again for taking the time to write in!

Thanks a lot for the prompt response. This is exactly the kind of support that makes users fan of a product.

I also just noticed if a coupon code is applied the Total amount, Pay deposit amount & Checkout button amount not updates in accordance (all these retains the previous value before the coupon was applied to the order) – these should update with right calculation with the coupons if applied.

Also if an item quantity is increased or decreased when at checkout or an item is removed – these also don’t update the Pay deposit amount accordingly.

Another thing is if users can edit Due Today, Future Payments, Payment options, Pay Deposit, Remaining balance, Pay Full Amount – these labels, they can more engagingly set keywords more appropriate for their target customers & for any language 🙌

    Hi,

Version 1.1.3 is now live, and both issues you spotted are fixed in it:

    • Coupons are now taken into account when the deposit is calculated. The deposit, the remaining balance and the amount charged all update when a coupon is applied or removed.
    • The deposit figures now follow quantity changes and discounts instead of staying at their original values.

The shipping-inclusive deposit option you raised earlier is in this release too, under Deposet → Settings → Deposit Calculation Base.

On custom labels: all of those strings are already translatable, so you can reword any of them today with something like Loco Translate, even within the same language. A dedicated settings screen for it is on our list.

Please update to 1.1.3 and let us know how it goes. And if the plugin is working well for you, we would really appreciate you sharing your honest experience in a review. Feedback like yours is what shapes where we take it next.

Thanks again for the detailed reports.
