Feature Image Sizing

Hello, I’m new to W.Press and have read various threads on this topic, but can not find the solution.

I write a post, add a “feature image” and then “Scale” it and no matter what I do it always shows up on my website as an over-sized image not fitting properly within the thumbnail…

PLEASE, PLEASE help, I would be so grateful.

Have you asked the developers of the theme?

Or if you mean that the images is getting cropped , you could try a plugin

I did contact them, to no avail.

Also, How do I post horizontally instead of vertically, my theme is 4 column and I want 3 posts per row.

You’ll have to ask the developers of the theme – we have no access to or ability to support commercial themes here, sorry.

This is what it says to do in the theme user guide ” Check the video below to see how to add featured images to posts. Theme uses timthumb script to generate thumbnail images. Make sure your host has PHP5 and GD library enabled. You will also need to set the CHMOD value for the “cache” folder within the theme to “777” or “755”

Where is the cache folder?

Evidently in the theme according to what you copied above. This may be helpful on file permissions –

You’ve been a great person to help me WPyogi. I switched themes and every feature image is just perfect.

My new question is… at my site http://www.guyearth.com

I included a “sidebar” under “widgets” … Why is the “sidebar” below and not on the right side vertically like the theme said it would?
