Favicon doesn't show

    Hi, my favicon doesn’t show up anymore. I have recently updated wordpress to 3.8 and installed a new theme (Studio Mag Responsive). I noticed that the theme didn’t load the favicon so I added this line to the header.php inside the <head> tag:

    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://anemina.com/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon"/>

    the blog is anemina.com and if I type in anemina.com/favicon.ico, the favicon appears in my browser. I have tried Safari and Firefox, emptied my chache and can’t think of any other solution to my problem. can you?
