    Translation :
Hello, I regularly have fake customers registering on an account. For example, from May 15th to 26th, I had 33 fake customers (mostly from Gmail, but not exclusively). What should I do? Thank you. Second question: I have one domain and two subdomains that don’t use WooCommerce. Initially, I registered WooCommerce only on the main domain, then I activated it on the network. I would like to revert to the first version (to avoid overloading my database), but I can’t. Note: This extension cannot be deactivated or removed until the extensions that require it are deactivated or removed. Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce is not activated on the network. WooCommerce Stripe Gateway is not activated on the network. WooCommerce.com Update Manager is not activated on the network. Thank you for your help

    Bonjour @colette6114,

Merci pour vos deux questions. Je vais y répondre en anglais pour plus de clarté, but feel free to reply in French!

For the fake customer registrations, This is a common bot/spam issue and not specific to WooCommerce. However, there are several approaches you can take:

    1. Disable customer registration entirely if you don’t need it (WooCommerce -> Settings -> Accounts & Privacy -> uncheck “Allow customers to create an account on the ‘My account’ page”)
    2. Add CAPTCHA protection using security plugins like Wordfence or Really Simple Security
    3. Use email verification to require customers to verify their email before accounts become active

For your multisite network issue, it sounds like WooCommerce is network-activated but you want to revert to single-site activation. The error message suggests there are dependent plugins that need to be addressed first, even though they show as not network-activated.

Also, are you seeing those dependent plugins (Payment Plugins for Stripe, etc.) listed anywhere in your individual site’s plugin pages, or are they completely absent from all sites?

    Looking forward to your response.
