• Can barely get on my blog the last couple days. I keep getting both the Fatal Error: Maximum Execution & Fatal Error: Out of Memory messages citing various php files. It happens on both the front and admin sides of the blog and I’m at my wit’s end.

I do not have a pre-existing php.ini file that I’m aware of. I did make up one up in notepad with some code I found on here to increase the execution time (max_execution_time = 60 ;)and added it to main directory… or the directory GoDaddy allows me to see anyway. I’m not sure if that’s even where it’s supposed to go. After I did that, I started getting the Out of Memory errors, before adding that file it had only been the Max Execution error. I’ve since deleted the file from my directory, since it didn’t seem to help. Would love some direction on what to do. Thanks!

    Hosting with GoDaddy:
    Operating System: Windows
    .Net Runtime Version: ASP.Net 4.0
    PHP Version: PHP 5.2
    IIS Version: IIS 7.0

  • Can you please copy and paste the exact errors that you are getting when you try to access your site? This isn’t behavior that I would ever expect from a WordPress installation, even in a GoDaddy shared hosting environment. Do you have other scripts that you are running besides WordPress?
