i installed matomo blugin on my website and when i tried to activate it triggered fatal error in the web site , and the site note says that : it could not be activated because this fatal mistake

– in the other hand i tried to delete the blugin the site note said : there is an error during deleting and it could not be deleted

– so how to solve this issue so ican delete or activate the matomom blugin

Hi @mohammedsh sorry you ran into these issues. Is the plugin still installed now? If so, could you enable maybe the safe mode as described in https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/how-do-i-find-and-copy-the-system-report-in-matomo-for-wordpress/ and send us the system report?

Basically, by adding define( 'MATOMO_SAFE_MODE', true ); to your wp-config.php it should be possible to see the system report and then it should likely also be possible to deactivate the plugin if needed.

actually i solved the problem by deleting the plugin manually by editing my weeb site file and installed it again and it worked.
