Support » Plugin: Event post » Fatal Error when trying to Activate Plugin

We updated all of our plugins today and wound up having to remove them due to a Fatal Error keeping us from accessing our WordPress Site.

After backing them up and taking them off of the website, we were able to get back in.

Once we were back into the dashboard, we went and added the removed plugin folders back into our WordPress website.

When trying to reactivate them all one by one, an Error appears above the list of plugins reading:

Fatal error: Can't use function return value in write context in /home/vmicc/public_html/Skyviews/wp-content/plugins/event-post/eventpost.php on line 1925

It seems that you use an old version of PHP (<5.5). We’ve just published a correction (version 5.0.1) that should make it work.

    Thank you for the feedback.
