Alright,
Let me check it out and let you know the answer findings, in the mean time go back to the previous version.
Thank you. I did revert to the last version. I appreciate your help!
Mandy,
What version of PHP are you running?
Do you have a PHP version 5 >= 5.3.0 ?
The site is running PHP version 5.4.24 through BlueHost.
The site is running PHP version 5.4.24 through BlueHost.
OK so the code should run without any issue .
Please email me to reedyseth at gmail dot com.
My site is down after updating. This is the message I am receiving.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/r/u/n/runawayspoon/html/blog/wp-content/plugins/subscribe-to-comments-reloaded/subscribe-to-comments-reloaded.php on line 19
Can you both submit the
subscribe-to-comments-reloaded/subscribe-to-comments-reloaded.phpfile/code here:YOu can get the code by opening with a FTP client or in the WordPress Dashboard by clicking on the plugin editor.
I have already reverted back to an older version of the plugin. I will have to download the new version and extract the necessary file from that.

Let me know if that works.
The code looks good to me, I also run a linter test and is working, my guess is the that the PHP version that you have is causing issues with then namespace, or in no geeky words,
I will have to setup a development environment for you PHP version (5.4.24).

Receiving the following message when updating the plugin –
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Also triggering a syntax error –
/plugins/subscribe-to-comments-reloaded/subscribe-to-comments-reloaded.php on line 19
These errors actually took a client’s site offline, and I had to delete the plugin to get the site back up. Tried reinstalling with the latest version and received the errors again.
