I had the same problem. Here’s what I did.
I updated theme to the latest version (via FTP – overwriting the theme folder entirely), which resolved the issue.

Hi I’m sorry, I must be doing something wrong. I deleted the original option-tree plugin directory, and replaced it with the patched directory (renaming it to ‘option-tree’ of course) and I am still getting the same error. Is there a second step? Thanks
It works. But first you’ll need to upload this new folder to your domain. Rename the old folder in order to “freeze” it. Then use the real name in this new uploaded folder. It’s working. Thanks Derek!
