Fatal Error on Activation

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/fairmeadowchurch/public_html/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php on line 2265
This is what my page now says when I try to view the dashboard after installing, then activating Events Manager. Install went fine. Activation seems to have killed my site.
I can login but nothing is accessible.

You might need to Increase the memory_limit of your WordPress Install. You could try changing it to 256mb or more. Here is sample link to increase the memory limit
