• Hi All,

I’m trying to login to access my dashboard for the site http://www.justinmjory.com.

When I enter my login information, I then receive the following message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_rtl() in /home/justinmjory/justinmjory.com/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 2102

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem?

    Justin

  • The is_rtl() function was introduced in WordPress version 3.0. What version of WordPress are you using?

Thanks for the reply. I believe it’s 3.0, but I can’t be certain because there’s no way to access my dashboard or any information related to the WordPress install.

    What are you thinking?

    What are you thinking?

    One of two things:

    1) Incomplete WordPress install (or upgrade)
    2) An older version of WordPress, with a Plugin that expects is_rtl() to be defined.

I would first try a complete re-install of WordPress, just to make sure all the files are there. Then, see if the problem persists.

If I do a complete re-install of WordPress, will I need to do that via my Dreamhost 1-click install? Could that screw my sight up?

I’m in the middle of grad school applications, and if that information isn’t there, that wouldn’t be good.

    Thanks for the insights.
