  • FTP into your site and rename the directory genesis-simple-hooks in the /wp-content/plugins directory — that should make the error go away get you back in the site.

As for why this error occurs in the first place, you’d better ask for support at StudioPress.

This is a site I’m just becoming familiar with. And I’m not sure how to FTP into this site. Any recommendations?

If I don’t have access to the host’s control panel is there any other way to make the error go away? Thanks for your help Senff.

Not really. A plugin is causing a problem, so you’ll need to disable it in order to eliminate the problem.

Since you can’t log in to your admin, or you can’t access the files through FTP, I can’t think of anything else. You may want to contact the host and ask for help.

Thank you… Kinda knew that’s what needed to be done.
