Hello,
It looks like a rare issue with WordPress Core files. Most likely some files are missing or corrupted. Backup everything and reinstall your WordPress.
Regards
KC
Hello KC Chai,
Thank you for your kind response.
I backed up everything, uninstalled and then re-installed wordpress. The issue is still there.
Now, I have deleted the entire sub-domain and re-installed wordpress in the re-created sub-domain.
I am currently restoring my backup.

Hello,
Could you try to remove the current theme you are using and use the default theme?
Regards
KC
Hello KC Chai,
Now I have restored my backup, after installing a fresh copy of wordpress.
But, I am still getting the same error
The line 75 of /wp-admin/includes/class-wp-upgrader-skins.php having the issue is:
return request_filesystem_credentials( $url, ”, $error, $context, $extra_fields, $allow_relaxed_file_ownership );
I even uploaded a fresh copy of class-wp-upgrader-skins.php from unzipped wordpress 4.3. Yet, the ploblem is still there.
I am really very surprised
regards,
Stardrive
Thank you.
I will try that through the control panel later and revert back.
Hello KC Chai,
I am unable to remove the current theme and use the default theme.
Whenever I click on any item in the dashboard, I get the same error:
“Fatal error: Call to undefined function request_filesystem_credentials() in /home1/strup/public_html/testsite/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-upgrader-skins.php on line 75”
Right now, I cannot do anything in the dashboard

Hello KC Chai,
I have detected the pro version of a slider plugin to be the cause of the above problem. I discovered this after deleting the plugin in my control panel of my web host.
I have notified the plugin vendor.
Thank you so much for your kind assistance
Best Regards,
Stardrive

Thanks for updating and have a nice day.
Hello Stardrive,
I am having the same problem as you at this very moment, I was trying to install TinyMCE Advanced plugin and after the installation was finished, I rebooted my page and I had this same problem
My question is, what was the slider plugin that you deleted?
I have the Pro version of the Master Slider here and do not know if the problem was caused by him. I have not tried to delete it.
I’m grateful for the help.
Hello zehatm,
Yes, the Pro version of the Master Slider was the plugin I deleted. So, I am currently using the free version of Master Slider which does not have any issue.
So, try deleting the folder of the Pro version of the Master Slider (masterslider) from the file manager of the control panel of your web host. You can install the free version for the time being until the plugin author resolve the issue with the pro version

Stardrive
Hello Stardrive,
I solved the problem by removing the Pro version of the Master Slider.
I will be waiting for the update.
Thank you for your help
Glad to hear that.
You are welcome, zehatm
