• Spent weeks creating a WordPress site on my localserver (its very involved as its e-commerce so all products are uploaded and lots of customisation). I’ve used an up-to-date WooTheme with WooCommerce. Everything worked perfectly on XAMPP.

I’ve just transferred it over to my live server and followed some instruction about configuring the database.

    I now get this error:
Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Dependencies’ not found in /home/loxh001/public_html/wp-includes/class.wp-scripts.php on line 19

    Its at http://www.youareart.co.uk

I need this site working asap and wondered if anyone would be able to help me?

  • That looks like you haven’t transferred all of the base WordPress files to the live server. Just in case, I’d suggest trying to re-upload all of them again, and watch your FTP logs to see if anything gets skipped, missed or not uploaded fully.

Further to what catacaustic mentions, one of the ways to help prevent FTP issues when uploading this many files is to simplly ZIP the contents of the local site and then then use your hosting account’s file manager to upload and unZIP that single file.
