Hi, iPage tech team couldn’t help me overcome this: “Fatal error: Class ‘Memcache’ not found in /hermes/bosnaweb26a/b2108/ipg.francishousenyorg/wp-content/object-cache.php on line 489”. I am trying to move a website that is working on wpengine to ipage. any ideas?

You probably still have WP Engine’s caching plugin with the site.

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

Alternatively, object-cache.php is not a standard WordPress file, so you should be able to safely delete it.

You were right on the money with deleting the object-cache.php After that, no problems. Thanks a million for the quick tip!
