Fatal Error — can't redeclare simple_html

    Hello,

    Have had Postie running flawlessly for a while. 2 days ago, messages stopped posting. Testing config shows 20 messages waiting for collection.

    When I run Postie manually or run Debug, I get the following message:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class simple_html_dom_node in /(home dir)/public_html/wp-content/plugins/postie/simple_html_dom.php on line 116

    Please help

    Sounds like there is a conflict with another plugin. Can you try disabling all plugins except Postie then run Postie. If it works then try enabling the plugins one at a time until Postie stops working.

    Another thing to try is to switch to twenty_fourteen theme and see if that fixes it.

    Thanks very much. Was able to isolate the conflicting plugin.

    It’s called Category Specific RSS, which coincidentally just had an update. Assume I need to contact them and ask them to fix, or do you dev’s sometimes work directly together to resolve these kinds of issues?
