Fatal Error, cannot redeclare wp_trim_excerpt

    I followed someone’s guide on how to decrease the word length of the excerpt, found here, and am now getting this:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_trim_excerpt() (previously declared in /home/content/36/11868536/html/wp-includes/formatting.php:2190) in /home/content/36/11868536/html/wp-content/themes/Sitefine/functions.php on line 61

    Now I cannot navigate my dashboard without receiving this error, and I can’t visit my site without receiving it. I’ve restored the functions.php file to it’s original and hit “Update File” but the page with the error comes back up again.

    What can I do when I can’t even navigate around to try and fix this issue?

    I’ve figured it out. Entered through webroot and restored my functions.php file there.
